Certis Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing team in West Sacramento, CA. As a key player on our projects, you’ll manage engineering and administrative functions, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between field operations and the project team. Pay Range: $80-100K DOE

What You’ll Do:

• Become an expert in contract documents, project plans, and applicable codes.
• Ensure safety, ethics, and compliance standards are met throughout all phases.
• Maintain clear communication across the project team, including subcontractors and consultants.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Estimating on project budgets and cost estimates.
• Review and troubleshoot construction documents to ensure quality and constructability.
• Help manage the procurement of subcontractors, materials, and major equipment.
• Lead job meetings and keep the project team aligned with deadlines and requirements.
• Handle change orders, project close-out, and documentation processes.
• Creating and filing site safety plans

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 1-5 years of experience in project engineering or related fields.
• Experience with project close-out documentation
• Strong knowledge of construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
• Understanding of construction documents, estimating, and building systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• LEED GA and field experience are a plus!
